The A9 type is next generation ASME B73.1 severe duty chemical processing pump. The A9 pump takes features available in the A7 to higher levels:
1. The A9 offers increased horsepower capabilities through a robust shaft and two piece frame
2. The Opti-expeller offers dynamic sealing using less horsepower
3. It improves reliability of sealing at shutdown
4. Identical inboard/outboard labyrinth oil seals and over sized oil sight glasses on each side of the generous oil bearing carrier add to the ease of maintenance and extended performance
5. A selection of single and double mechanical seals, which are also available, will perform especially well in the A9 environment of low shaft deflections even in the worst applications.
