Minimising downtime is massively important to production companies, because downtime results in lost revenue. In a great many pump applications, the pumps in use are problematic because they are just not suitable for the application. This may be due to chemical attack on component parts, gas locking, abrasive wear or a number of other factors. The pumps do not require additional seals and check valves for their operation. They also self-prime and will safely run dry.
