(1) Can adapt to the needs of chemical processes

In chemical production, pumps not only need to transport liquid materials and provide the necessary pressure required by the process, but also must ensure the amount of materials transported. In certain chemical unit operations, the flow rate and head of the pump are required to be stable to maintain high efficiency and reliable operation of the pump.

(2) Corrosion resistance

The media transported by chemical pumps, including raw materials, reaction intermediates, etc., are often corrosive media. This requires the selection of appropriate and reasonable materials for the pump to ensure its safety, stability, and longevity.

(3) High temperature and low temperature resistance

The high-temperature medium transported by chemical pumps includes process liquid materials, as well as heat carrying liquids required and generated by reaction processes. For example: condensate pump, boiler feedwater pump, heat transfer oil pump.

There are also many types of low-temperature media transported by chemical pumps, such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, methane, etc. The low-temperature working temperature of pumps is mostly between 20 and 10 ℃.

Regardless of whether the chemical pump is transporting high or low temperatures, the material selection and structure must be appropriate, and it must have sufficient strength. The parts of the designed and manufactured pump must be able to withstand the effects of thermal shock, thermal expansion, low-temperature cold deformation, cold brittleness, etc.

(4) Wear resistant and erosion resistant

Due to the presence of suspended solid particles in the logistics transported by chemical pumps, as well as the operation of pump impellers and chambers under high pressure and high flow rate, the surface protective layer of pump components is damaged, resulting in a shorter lifespan. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the wear resistance and erosion resistance of chemical pumps, which requires the use of wear-resistant materials such as manganese steel, ceramics, cast iron, and erosion resistant materials such as titanium and manganese steel for pump materials.
